Legal constants and currency

Constants used (Ecuadorian SBU, IESS contribution rates, VAT percentages, payment gateway fees) are updated yearly or when the issuing authority publishes a change. There may be a short gap between official publication and our update. Always verify the original source:

• Ecuador labor: IESS, Ministry of Labor.
• Ecuador tax: SRI.
• Payment gateway fees: official PayPal, Stripe, MercadoPago websites.

Under no circumstances will LaGuiaEmprendedor, Omenius, or contributors be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from use of or inability to use the calculators or information on this site, even if warned of such possibility.

Input data

Calculators run entirely in your browser. Inputs are not transmitted to our servers nor stored remotely. Some calculators (currency converter, XML viewer) call public APIs; in those cases the call is made by your browser directly.

Source code, editorial text and visual design are property of Omenius. Short citations with attribution and link are allowed. Full reproduction requires written authorization.
